Longmeadow Youth Basketball enters teams into two travel leagues.  The Introductory League is for players in 3rd and 4th grade.  The Suburban League is for players in 5th through 8th grade.  Both leagues provide players an opportunity for more competitive play against teams from other towns.  These leagues require more of a commitment from players, and moderate travel is required.  Teams are formed after completion of evaluations which are peformed by outside evaluators such as high school coaches, AAU coaches and college players.

Divisions:

3rd and 4th grade boys and girls

5th and 6th grade boys and girls

7th and 8th grade boys and girls

LYBA generally sponsors two teams in each division/gender, for a total of 12 teams.
